You will find some very useful information about The Ring O Bells Inn and many of the local resources by viewing other pages on our site. We particularly recommend that you take a look at those pages describing local beaches. There are Seven Bays locally and while some are sandy and perfect for families, others are perfect for surfing Atlantic waves.

Here are some of the pages you might like to view:

Local Beaches

The Seven Bays

(just click here for an interactive map or select a beach from the list below)

Boobys Bay

This beach is rarely busy and is great for families and beach games.

Constantine Bay

A wide sweeping beach that is great for families, sandy at high tide and with rock pools to investigate at low tide.

Harlyn Bay

With its wide sandy beach, safe bathing and ample car parking, Harlyn is perhaps the most popular of The Seven Bays for holidaymakers.

Mother Iveys

This little beach is a little less accessible than the others, but is very sheltered from most wind directions, can be accessed from Harlyn Bay.

Porthcothan Bay

Cliffs either side of the beach protect it from the wind, so it can often be the ideal choice if there is a chill in the breeze.

Popular with local people, Trevone is often forgotten, yet it is a safe sandy beach, with rock pools at low tide and has a small shallow lagoon at times that forms within the beach.

Treyarnon Bay

Popular beach for surfers during mid and high tides, but there are riptides during low tidal periods, when these are likely the lifeguards put out warning signs.
