A Proper Cornish Pub

As well as being the number one place to stay in St Issey according to Tripadvisor, The Ringers has won many awards over the years, for its value for money and high quality service to its customers.

As you may have seen on ITV’s “Cornwall with Caroline Quentin”, The Ring O Bells St Issey is a proper Cornish pub with a really friendly atmosphere and some great entertainment like local Cornish band Black Velvet.

Sadly these days there are not too many ‘proper’ pubs left in Cornwall, many have been changed into ‘eateries’ that don’t spend enough time on providing what most visitors want. We like to think that The “Ringers” is just what they want, a proper Cornish pub, with beams, inglenook and great value home cooked food, much of it produced from ingredients provided by our smallholding.

We have a separate intimate dining area, a large bar area and a secluded patio garden area which is a little suntrap and provides a pleasant outdoor environment even on most windy days.

Bed & Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is now available again. However, we are still slightly limited by the gradual lifting of restrictions.

Because of the increase in work, ensuring that rooms are made safe for our guests, we shall have to impose a minimum two night’s stay for room bookings and hope that our customers and friends will understand our difficulties.

With so much to see in this beautiful part of Cornwall, we are sure you will find an extra day or two, can only ever be a bonus!

The pub is open for business and we will do everything we can to deliver the best experience we can under present circumstances.

Local businesses like ours need your help in these times, so please come and support us. You will be most welcome!
